The trick is called 'self oscillation' when the filter behave like an oscillator on it's own at xtreme resonance settings - if not try feed some noise into the filter's input & set the fltr. keyboard tracking all the way up to a 100%!

korg ms2000/ensoniq sq80 making atari and c64 sounds
just got a ms2000 for the crystal castle type project im doing called loversenvy
..soo just showing some cool c64 type sounds that i made on it s...
Even thru the crappy sound quality of the 'tube people can clearly realize how much warmer & richer the sq80 sounds..
Those qualities disappaered from the modern products like the ms2000 though It is a very likeable toy indeed.

Yeah that is why I'm in dilemma cause what I really need is a good
flexible sequencer with usable sounds and no computer in the game
but the fun factor & the ability to work fast is also counts.
Maybe less is more in my case...
