Barbaro, the son of Dynaformer and La Ville Rouge, is perhaps my favorite Thoroughbred ever.
Born at the Lael Stables in Kentucky, run by the Jackson family, his career started off prosperous.
Before entering the 2006 Kentucky Derby he was undefeated, winning for example the Holy Bull Stakes and Florida Derby.
