Things were at their peak when World At War came out. I had SO MUCH FUN on that game, Mind it was probably because I was almost ALWAYS/always doing well on it, and got to rank 85 (give or take a rank or two) in the ENTIRE WORLD, on the 6v6 WAR game mode.
I could play that game, and not worry about OVERPOWERED GUNS OR PERKS. Juggernaut - Cancelled out Stopping power (and vice versa), MP40 wasnt as bad as UMP, as it required two shots ONLY at close range, and sometimes turned into 3 under circumstances, and needed as many as 4 shots. The M1A1 was the only other Overpowered weapon, able to make mincemeat out of any target, at almost any range. EVEN SECOND CHANCE WAS BALANCED, because if you went down into second chance, YOU HAD to kill them with your pistol or Knife rather than get a kill AS YOU GO INTO SECOND CHANCE, few people used Second chance (so they usually cant revive you), and most people could get out of the way. Bottom line, WaW was a FUN game. TOO BAD ITS NOW OVERLADENED WITH HACKERS AND MODDERS!!! Oh and One more thing, Black ops fixed their bad spawns withing month ONE of their release, we are closing in on month FOUR on MW3'S release, 1/3 of the games life span, and the spawn systems STILL havent been fixed, they've done next to nothing with the overpowered guns, and cant seem to fix the "LAG COMPENSATION". Its obvious to me it'll NEVER be fixed.
Long story short, NO MORE COD VIDEOS, and I am Tabooing it from my consoles, I will WATCH CoD, but I will not PLAY CoD again.

dude everything you said about the gameplay on the ak74u was accurate dont listen to them. theyre butt hurt cause anytime you try and tell something they need to hear. they think youre a hater.
