Welcome to the River of Life Church YouTube Channel. ROL is situated in Nyendo, a busy and overcrowded trading post of about 35,000 people near Masaka, in southern Uganda. The vast majority of people earn less that $1 a day, live in really poor conditions and are involved in either subsistence farming or earning small amounts in the informal sector.

We seek to spread the good news of Jesus Christ in word and action, and to assist particularly vulnerable people in Nyendo - orphans and vulnerable children, the elderly, sick and infirm. We currently provide residential care to boys and girls who were either formerly street kids or at significant risk, undertake hospital, prison and village visits, work with the youth of Nyendo, promote reconciliation between north and south Ugandans, develop sustainable income generation, and promote intercession for the nations.
