Formed in 1949, this club was one of the most feared in Cheshire football, at this time though the club was called Stockton Heath Albion. Winning a string of honours including the mid cheshire league championship in 1960, the League cup 3 times and got the most appearances in th Cheshire Amateur Cup Final. Succesfull players from this era went on to join football league clubs; Ian Weir (Scotland & Hibernian), John Green (Tranmere Rovers), And Alan Foster (Crewe). The most famous player of course was Roger Hunt who went on to score many memoribale goals for Liverpool Fc and gained the ultimate honour in gaining a World Cup Winners Medal in 1966 with the England Team.
