Thanks to everyone for watching! I can't respond to all the comments, but I do reply to messages sent to me.
There are a few recurring questions in the comments I'd like to address. First: yes, Warlord was inspired by William Golding's Lord of the Flies, as well as by Akira Kurosawa's samurai films and the comic book epic-ness of things like Conan, Beastmaster, etc. Mostly, inspiration came from the Japanese taiko drumming group Kodo.
Our score is original, and written by Michael Tremante; the woodwind soloist, David Weiss, is probably best know for his work on The Lion King on Broadway.
The Old Warlord's language at the beginning is one I made up - a pidgin of sounds and words that I gave a very basic structure.
Warlord is a short film, and not a trailer for a feature. We have ideas for expansion, but for now are working on other projects. I'll keep you all posted.

I think the ending was too predictable. He should have been beaten down and "repressed" like the billions of people across the world. I'm not a muslim fanatic of any sorts, but I think they are the only ones on earth fighting tooth and nail too keep the corporate mentality off their lands. I think the media is propagandizing them as religious terrorist nut jobs.
