@patgrm you know nothing... the blow off valve is there to vent excess pressure/airflow from the system to prevent it back flowing though the compressor side of the turbo, causing it to stall which can lead to premature turbo failure or compressor wheel destruction.

on na cars, total lack of backpressure can actually cause a loss of power. its not a turbo car

@mintkendishin thats been done already, as have awd crx's and civics. high mile d16s are so unreliable, especially y8's which this is. I just had an oil pump fail on mine 2 weeks ago. This was clearly a headgasket failure... on a 230k mile motor im surprised it lived that long

the only issue you'll have is the motor only makes about 5 or less revolutions to control the full swing of the vanes. you need to have a way to set limits so you're not applying voltage to the motor constantly

sounds just like the KaTech torquer cam is our ls7... this car definitely needs a little more tuning at idle, and possibly have the idle raised... we managed to get 80% of the lope out of our car
