To summarize: I have watched the latest video by Craig and I am familar with all the works of all the people you mention. I do not agree with the explanation is not needed as the analogy he uses has an explanation (we don't need to explain the man who made the watch we find on the beach for example, as he is already explained.) You can't use this analogy to prove something we don't know about (God) exists.

Look up Dawkins reason for not debating him before judging. Why do you assume it's for a negative reason? Open up your mind.

Plus, I've been blocked from Dr. Craig's channel. How many others have been? It's such bullshit. Why would you choose to see censored (unchallenged) material, only? It's an indication of weakness.

The New Atheist movement is not "asking the theists" anything at all. It is shouting at them, insulting them, refusing to engage in any kind of sensible conversation at all. I've found that if I ask a New Atheist to unpack his slogans a little, and allow them to be put under the logic microscope for examination, they get VERY restless VERY quickly, and start saying things like "There's obviously no point discussing with you because your'e a moron" etc.... Very poor, must do better. I don't claim to be the fount of all knowledge and have everything neatly sewn up, but I am at least up for a sensible conversation.

It's not a strawman because the only defining characteristic of 'atheist' is the rejection of belief in god. The new atheist movement is asking the theists making the claim that god exists to actually provide support for their claim, what's not to like?
