.. Yeah.. I've had a few FM synths including the FB-01. This chip is not FM... It can sound fat because it's a raw square wave.. but it's actually just a videogame chip. Google YM2149F and check the wiki page (first link.. says AY-3-8910 -- that's the same chip) it's actually refered to a "SSG"
