Havin´ a laugh - and havin´a say !
about Wärter´s schlEchte - Streetpunk

The slogan "having a laugh - and having a say" was once used by a
famous band, years before - but it's just what waerters schlechte stand for..

Musicially, we represent a mixture of streetpunk with oldschool-punkrock and some hardcore influences -that doesn't get lost in any swamps. We started in 1991 as a rather snotty fun-band. This has changed since then, also due to crew changes. We consider ourselves to be a streetpunkcombo which doesn't exclude fun! As we are defined as an Oi-punk-band from time to time, we would herewith make clear that we are Waerters Schlechte, we play punk/streetpunk, sometimes we slightly touch oipunk, we perform what we think (even if it's difficult to unite 5 totally different guys in one band). We don't deny our beginnings, although we were really shitty then. We can't tell by which band we are influenced cause we have our own Waerters-style and all the different tastes and bands come together in the band. Our words are about everything that concerns a streetkid - for more information read the lyrics - due to our long and public-centred show/live-experience we know how to turn our audience crazy and to party with our visitors.
