Roger Whittaker made a better version of this song ... my son had it on an old albumn he bought in an old record shop. Roger doesn't over do some of the words like he does in this one. I wish we could find the version ---until you've heard it, it's hard to explain why the other version is better.

Gary Busey seems that he can't carry a tune in a bucket-----he shouldn't have ever sung out loud in that movie ...
a total diservice to Buddy Holly's music ... it's a shame.

I like this version of the song well enough ... Of course I like Dylan's own version of the song----but, for my money--the best version of this song was done by Ian and Sylvia years ago. I guess it was because it was the first time I'd heard the song and I listened to it a good bit at the time. ...

Beautiful song, beautifully done under the circumstances .. she made it through the song, her voice having to fight its way through a room full of drunks. She did have a number of folks in the audience that apreciated her game effort.
Eilen Jewell is a special singer with a great band.

Amazing stuff ... Eilen Jewell and her band come up with a great mix of country and blues ... kinda rockabilly. And then they do some terrific gosphel numbers also. Her singing style is really laid back ... smooth and easy--she's something special.
