Prosody started off way off in the beginning 2006 just for the love of music. Started off to the tunes of Roadhouse Blues and other classic classic rock songs. No band in particular. By the end of the year we were focussed on Pearl Jam type of alternative rock and a few original originals :) I was a big fan and wanted to be part of it...
So it was by mid 2007, in the 3rd yr of college that i finally got to join the band :) Then we started doing stuff like ACDC, Metallica and RATM. We still did Pearl Jam (Abhay sings the melodic stuff)..
I mostly do the opposite of that.. hehe.. Well it was a few months till we started doing only RATM kind of music (and sometimes we do classics like Another Brick & Roadhouse Blues n stuff).. We went to the national finals of Campus Rock Idols in Nov 07!
Then we came out with a few more originals (heavy funk, rapcore)..
We also won the hindi band competition at mood-i, IIT-Bombay.. Cariappa sang for that..

Well now we're focussed on originals.. And lots lots to come....
