ASL belongs to the Deaf. If you are not going to learn it right, then why bother learning? It will not do anybody any good. Take advice from the Deaf people, its their language.

@tyndsu I really want to be apart of the Deaf Community. Its rare for a hearing person to be accepted in, but it is possible. Any tips?

Wow. I cant believe YouTube is doing this...People who sign songs correctly are helping greatly in the Deaf Community. I dont understand how they can delete songs that help people but others can get away with making stupid videos to songs...somethings just not right. I wish we could make YouTube ...

Facial expressions are key in ASL...why did you cover your face?

How long did it take you to become fluent in sign language? I have been learning sign for a few months now, and its going ok. I want to go to the Nation Deaf Expo in Las Vegas in July. But I feel like I wont be accepted in the Deaf Community/World.

@demeterlol Be careful teaching yourself. There is more then just signs. Most signs do not translate to an English word...and there is a whole Culture that goes with this language.

@jaketaustinlover2 There is more then just words...the structure and grammar is different. Please learn about ASL correctly, and learn about the Deaf Culture. A class is a great way. Sean is deaf so he is good as sign.
