PS It will kill me to wait until the next installment of Outlander - you really left us hanging with Echo in the Bone! I'm trusting in you to bring Jamie & Claire safely through it! I cherish this series!

Diana - thank you for your vision - your beautiful characters that resonate with all of us - and evoke emotions from me that no author has...Jamie & Claire forever! I share these books with all my friends -

Well Diana, I have been reading the Outlander novels since they came out...gosh how long has it been??? I always wait patiently for the next in the series. I love Jamie and Claire sooo much! In the meantime I started a friendship with a Welshman on Paltalk. (Next best thing to being Scottish I imagined. And do you know we have been married now for over 6 years! lol) I tell him about Jamie and Claire and tell him he is my Jamie (blush). The welsh word for dear one is cariad (very close to the scottish word). I pick up books all the time looking for a good author, in between waiting for the next in the series, but I can't find someone who is as good a writer as you! When I read your novels I can see, smell, touch, I am there with you. No one else can write like that, that I can find. Is there someone you, or anyone, can recommend to me to fill the time in-between??

I know you have like a million comments... but I have to say, and this is going to sound very silly, I started reading your series by chance and not in order either. I happened to pick up Drums of Autumn on a lunch break and absolutely could not put it down. I have since started an almost finished the first one and cannot stop talking about your books with all my friends. I have never in my life read a book yet alone a series that is soo captivating. I literally can not put your books down. Thank you for bringing these books to life!!! Seriously, My most favorite author!!! I just can't wait to read what happens next!!!

Sorry... I just marked my own comment as "spam" (can you see me blushing?) Well, heck I didn't know what those "Spam" headings were for. Like they say, curiosity killed the cat.
Color me chagrined,

.....When I finished the last book, I knew I would have to wait for the next installment of this saga, and as with other series that I've followed, I've forced myself to forget that I'm impatiently waiting for the next book. Imagine my surprise when I realized that the book I had been waiting for came out a month and a half ago! Can't wait to get my hands on a copy! So anyway, I was looking at the excerpts and found this graphic novel...........that has pictures?! Gosh, its so good to SEE Claire! Can't wait to see Jamie! Love your work Diana!

Hi Diana,
Have just got hold of Echo, and doing a little research on your website and here on youtube to refresh the memory of where we left of with snow and ashes, before I sit and enjoy! Wonderful books, thankyou.

I would just like to tough on the comment asking about a movie that would be based on the series... in my opinion (because I have to put in my 2 cents) is that a mini series might be more appropriate to the length and depth of the story line ( like they are doing with legend of the seeker). That way, the proper time can be afforded to properly develop the story arch without rushing situations or omitting characters. It would be able to reflect the richness of the characters much better.

That being said, the books have been my "ultimate historical fiction" series to date (and I am very picky). Thank you for sharing your talent with us all - the journey so far has been great and am looking forward to what is to come!

(Am 1/4 through the 7th book and relishing every page! :D
