I have the PST5 16'' thin Crash too. But I don't use it as a Crash. I also bougth a PST5 16'' Rock Crash and put them together as Hi-Hat. The thin on top and the rock on bottom. Absolutely Killer Sound Hi-Hat.

Clapton plays his guitar straight into a FenderAmp without any Effects or WahWah and other shit which Santana constantly uses to cove...
