Voices of Color Show One African American Student Organizations
Premise A sitcom about minority organizations on the University of Houston campus and our purpose is to invoke analytical criticism highlight their stance not only on the campus but the greater Houston area.
Audience The show will appeal primarily to the minority students of the University of Houston and hopefully be able to grab some administration attention to realize the importance of diversity throughout all segments on the campus.
Production Output We hope to put a new show on the air every 2 weeks (biweekly). This will be a team effort of everybody contributing with editing, producing, directing, writing, marketing and everything that we have to do in order to sale ourselves to the UH campus.
Feasibility
This show will be done with all the help and participation from the members who are assigned to certain positions. We will be doing our own outside filming, but we do plan on using the studio for a portion of our show at the same time. As for the costumes, we will be providing our own with an on-hand make-up artist assisting our talent with any adjustments. The concept along with the production is not impossible so with that in mind we are willing to produce a show every 2 weeks. This taping will be done throughout the UH campus at different organization meetings.
