Starting the standard 4 diesel after rebuilt..
Testing the rebuilt standard 4 engine. Cold start at -1 degrees. using 4 glow plugs, no intake manifold flame thrower in this one..

I rebuilt my Ferguson TO35 Standard Diesel and it sounds identical. Mine, however, does not have glow plugs. It has a fuel pre-heating cold start system which works pretty well. It originally had 2-6 volt batteries in series. Just a little ether works every tie in all temps.

"the Army trained soldiers to spray down an area" bullshit! We were trained to fire accurately; one shot at a time and 3-5 round bursts on auto. It's just that it is so easy to put it on auto and spray rounds. It was easy to hit a pop up man sized cutout at 550 meters with a 3 round burst.
