Agora em 2008 vj weedman estréia um novo projeto que já vem se destacando na cena catarinense. Utilizando câmeras ao vivo, animações geradas por computador, textos e loops de vídeos, alia tecnologia e conhecimento à criatividade, projetando imagens produzidas através de softwares de edição digital, faz transições entre as fontes, transformando suas propriedades de cor, velocidade, textura e forma, criando uma ambientação visual associada à performance do DJ. Transportando os espectadores a uma viagem visual por uma composição que aborda temas como biosfera, espiritualidade, ecossistemas, tecnologia e abstração.
"Os estímulos visuais proporcionam acesso direto ao subconsciente, este projeto utiliza deste artifício para alcançar a consciência coletiva durante a comunhão com o infinito através da dança. Tornando assim, as pessoas mais conscientes de sí próprias, dos seus ambientes, dos caminhos da humanidade e das necessidades do planeta."

The brand new live visuals project that started in this Brazilian summer session is arousing attention to the southern Brazilian scene. Using live video capture, computer generated animations, texts and video loops, vj weedman associates creativity, technology and knowledge, edits the videos on the fly, makes transitions between the video sources, transforms its properties of color, speed, texture and shape, creating an impressive visual associated with the performance of the DJ. Transporting viewers to a trip by a visual composition, that addresses issues such as biosphere, spirituality, ecosystems, technology and abstraction.

Music lover and technology addicted, vj weedman understands from an early age how the visual aspect can stimulate people. In early 2001 he introduced veejaying to Southern Brazil when he performed with his friend DJ Fernando Olsen some sound-synchronized visuals on the greatest Hanna Club in Santa Catarina-Brazil. In 2004 he started working at Bali Hai Summer Club in Porto Belo beach playing alongside the best Brazilian Djs.

Awakening the senses of the public through visual stimuli is only one of the purposes for the vj. Since you have news of music in humanity, it is known that in its infancy it was formed by repetitive sounds. The natives in their rituals met around a bonfire, with compassed beats and sounds issued by mouth or primitive instruments, following a sequence with the goal of generating a trance in those involved. These were influenced by the sounds and also by the visual aspect , through body paintings, decorations and visual effects caused by fire. After achieving perfection in the classical period, the music returns to a period of abstraction and the old rituals are similar to our current parties. The proposal is the same: transcend.
The electronic music is basically formed by uniformly structured musical sequences within the bars, in the same way the production of a vj is based on visual sequences, in structuring these bars in accordance with the music, making one an addition to the other.

Thinking always forward, this project is able to be showed in videowalls with lcds or plasma, because it uses only high-resolution videos, all of this to show the images perfectly in any environment.

Despertar os sentidos do público através de estímulos visuais é apenas uma das finalidades para o vj. Desde que se tem notícia da música na humanidade, sabe-se que em seus primórdios era formada por sons repetitivos. Os nativos em seus rituais se reuniam em volta da fogueira, com batidas compassadas e sons emitidos pela boca ou instrumentos primitivos, seguindo uma seqüência com o objetivo de provocar um transe naqueles envolvidos. Estes eram influenciados pelo som e também pelo visual, através de suas pinturas corporais, decorações e efeitos visuais provocados pelo fogo. Depois de alcançar a perfeição no período clássico, a música retorna a um período de abstração e os antigos rituais se assemelham cada vez mais às nossas festas. A proposta é a mesma: transcender. A música eletrônica é formada basicamente por seqüências musicais estruturadas uniformemente dentro dos compassos, da mesma maneira a produção do vj se baseia em seqüências visuais, estruturando estas em compassos de acordo com a música, tornando um complemento do outro.

Apaixonado por música e tecnologia vj weedman descobriu na produção visual uma atividade que realiza com prazer e perfeição. Influenciado por seus amigos DJ Gil e DJ Fernando Olsen em 2001 projetou nos telões do badalado club Hanna de Joinville - SC, animações geradas através da leitura dos canais do som mixado ao vivo pelo DJ Fernando Olsen, esta foi sua primeira performance como vj e inclusive a primeira vez que algo assim era projetado em alguma festa na região. Após avanços incríveis na tecnologia e no conhecimento, vj weedman inicia em 2004 um projeto no Bali Hai Summer Club de Porto Belo - SC se estendendo pela temporada de verão, com camera ao vivo e edição on the fly.
