Hey love. Got your question. Everything is just fine. Virgin hair tends to be darker b/c it hasn't been hit by the sun. Hair tends to lighten as the days go by. Also, chemically treated hair has been altered and the light hits is a completely different way making it look like a different color. More than likely the new hair you see growing in is a lot healthier and hasn't been exposed to the natural elements yet.
