The basic tune of this tune belongs to the variety of KUMMI PAATU in tamil culture..mostly sung in villages where ladies get together in a common place sing by clapping their hands as like beats to the song..during the festivals seasons like pongal..you can notice clapping sound that in the beggi...

There is a tamil song in the same tune..can any one say??

@snir143 Its too sad that the person could properly pronounce the words like Tamizh, mozhi, azhivu...he couldn't roll his tongue much..pronouncing as tamiL, moLi, aLivu,...so sad..i could see this dialect mostly in madurai and nellai based people..first speak the language properly..u can try to p...

adding to the below comments..thyagarajar kritis are the wonderful gifts for the carnatic music..but having said that..thiyagarajar was born and lived in thanjavur in tamilnadu..
