@climbingthesun Where's that? Kim's on lead on this song; about halfway through she does some tremelo picking that's not on the album version, if I recall correctly. Mando doesn't have a solo on this song that I can make out.

@nphanlon1973 Kim is a huge Black Sabbath fan, it was shot on the same soundstage where they did the 'Paranoid' video, I think. I'd wager it was more an homage to that than a fuck-off to the concept of promotional videos.

@respinozaaudio The solution to those problems would be 1) save up for tape; and 2) don't even bother recording if the band is so shitty that you have to do 50 takes on ProTools. I heard the tape saturation which, to my ears, sounded way better than the cold digital file. This video was not a was...

Nothing beats the Youngbloods version, but this is wonderful to hear. Crosby's voice is a dream.

I just got a digipak (cardboard case) version of this album on eBay from England. I have a 2'x2' framed promo poster for this record, framed on my wall. Now I just need the 180gram vinyl reissue and the cassette and I'll be all set.

Amps/Breeders have a lot of skater fans...and a lot of Spanish-speaking fans... cool.

oh what a killer. the way the word 'now' seems to morph into Demos's guitar solo has long bewitched me. the mean breakdown at 2:14 is one of my favorite Pollard song things ever. and the single stray electric upstroke at 3:18 and 3:27 is so raunchy. UNH.

incredible underrated LP in the Pollard back pages, the first four songs are killer. These 3 are great. People Are Leaving is one of the saddest songs ever.

@dudushe He was always an impeccable drummer. Is he doing anything now besides raising kids? If so, he needs to be brought out of retirement.
