Denis Matsuev does not have the Argerich unique sound...and also is not a pianist that we can call "legendary"... Martha was already accomplished at 7 years old... She, alike Horowitz was born in a piano...

Sorry, but everything that Heifetz lacks is here: finesse, sensitivity, imagination, beautiful sound and a perfect down and up bow staccato, without any scracht, and beautiful round trills. Heifetz is rather mechanical and unsensitive in that particular piece and not at ease with his faulty stacc...

The octaves and the notes at the very ending are not of Cesar Frank... and it is irrespective of the intent of the great composer ...

Here is here such a fine example of what is so much missing to violinists nowadays: finesse, musicallity. So distinctive from the Delay approach that killed the inspiration of several generations of gifted violinists in America

Miss Delay has produced the most vulgar violinist in all violin history... Her students had all the greatest talent, but unfortunately, they all have lack of taste in great violin litterature or even in salon pieces, like Zigeunerwisen... Big gross tone... with heavy vibrato,no colors or shade......

It sounds aggressive,compared to Kreisler. The sound is not as beautiful... Even if Heifetz had maybe more so called technique, we understand why Kreisler was called the "King"of all violinists... I wonder if Heifetz could have cope with Rachmaninov uge sound and massive musical ideas which seem ...

Bach would be the best music to enhance the quality of this violin... Mr. Fulton owns violins as good if not superoior to this one. The Vieuxtemps is victim of exagerated publicity. Bein and Fushi wants to create a myth...Money is their main goal...
