In a relatively short amount of time, New York based Vinyl Foote Productions - founded by husband and wife team, Jayce and Tiffany Bartok - has made its mark in the independent film world winning numerous awards at film festivals internationally. Starting with the acclaimed short film Stricken starring Hayley Mills, Vinyl Foote moved on to Altered By Elvis, an award
winning feature length documentary about people deeply changed by the King of Rock 'n Roll. Altered By enjoys an international fan base, and it airs yearly on Elvis' Birthday in several
countries.
The Cake Eaters, written by Jayce Bartok (dir by Mary Stuart Masterson, starring Kristen Stewart, Aaron Stanford, and Bruce Dern) played to great acclaim at the 2007 Tribeca Film
Festival, and went on to win several jury and audience awards and play worldwide at over 60 film festivals leading to its theatrical distribution in 2009. Jayce worked diligently as a coproducer getting the film launched. Soon after, their award winning short film Little Pumpkin played internationally and was a selection of SXSW.
Vinyl Foote just completed production on the music videos Wage Slavery for the artist Eva, and the experimental video Dogs Are Loyal for the OZET; and is launching its slate of four new feature films currently in development: Tiny Dancer, Livingston Avenue, Dream Country (based on the best-selling novel by author Luanne Rice) and Red River.
Vinyl Foote Productions and BDC Communications recently joined forces to form The
Independent Collective (fiscal sponsorship pending). TIC is a platform that unites artists and
their audiences, enabling them to be a vital part of a project's development and success by actively contributing to the birth of a dream with the CLICK of a button.
