Welcome aboard! This is your source for clean and objective vintage video game reviews and commentary.
I started this channel to document my personal experience growing up with video games. Please SUBSCRIBE and come along for the ride!
I use a simple grading scale for my game reviews:
A = Must Have
B = Not Too Shabby
C = Take It or Leave It
D = Kinda Sucks
F = Piss Poor
When grading, I try to consider how the game stacks up against other games on the same platform.
All game footage is captured from the actual games as played on the actual systems.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: Do you have a facial deformity?
A: Ha ha ha! No.
Q: Then why don't you appear on camera?
A: I prefer to keep the focus of my videos on the games themselves.
Q: Why does your voice sound like that?
A: I have no idea. That's just the way I talk.
Q: How can you afford so many systems and games? Are you rich?
A: No, I'm just really cheap. I buy most of my things from garage sales, flea markets and second-hand shops. I've also been collecting for several years. You just have to be patient.
Q: Why don't you have any current gen consoles?
A: I don't like motion controls, consoles that constantly break, or unfinished games that require huge patches and updates. On top of that, there are so many games that I want to get for the systems I already have. I just had to draw the line somewhere.
Q: What about the Intellivision?
A: I had one for awhile but I just couldn't get into it, so I sold it.
Q: Will you review (insert game here)?
A: I keep track of every request, but I won't be considering them for awhile. I have a list of pre-planned videos I want to do, it just takes me a long time to make them.
Q: Why does it take you so long to make a video?
A: I have a family and a career that take up a lot of my time.
Q: What kind of camera do you use?
A: It's a Samsung FlashCam Model SMX-F34BN. I'd like to get an HD camera eventually, but I don't know when that will happen.
Q: What kind of computer do you use?
A: I have a Gateway SX2840 with a 2.83 GHz Intel CORE processor, 6 GB of RAM and Windows 7 Home Premium Edition (64-bit).
Q: Do you emulate or capture your game footage?
A: It's the real deal!
Q: How do you capture your game footage?
A: I use an external USB capture device that came with Pinnacle Studio 10, but I don't use the Pinnacle software because it sucks.
Q: What editing software do you use?
A: It's called Magix Movie Edit Pro 16 and it cost about $50. It's not the greatest thing on earth but it gets the job done.
Q: I thought you said you weren't interested in becoming a YouTube partner. Doesn't that make you a sellout?
A: Yeah kind of. I decided to apply anyway for the extra features, mainly the ability to alter my thumbnails.
Q: What don't you have a Facebook and Twitter?
A: Enh.
Q: I'm thinking about starting my own gaming channel. Any suggestions?
A: Just be yourself. Make videos that you enjoy and don't worry about what other people think. Put some effort into your videos and emphasize quality over quantity. Be active in the Gaming Community by watching and commenting on other people's videos. Most of all, have fun, be patient, and don't worry about how many subscribers you have!

Hey Vintage. Would love to see another console overview video. Those are definitely some of my favorites of yours. Maybe the Playstation 2. You seem to have an affection for it, and for some of the youngest viewers, the PS2 might seem like ancient history. Whatever you do, I hope you keep making great videos. You've become one of my top 5 video game channels on YouTube, and I am pretty picky about what I watch.
