ROUTE66 VEHICLES BELOW... I am paying tribute to my vehicles in motion and employing their fanfare to expose a vast publishing industry scam that I discovered while marketing the novel SEVEN SKINS. After receiving numerous pamphlets for self-help books and lectures in response to literary queries, I decided to gamble with my own writing future to unveil a lucrative and public-disserving deception. By perpetuating the masses' perceived needs for their bogus services, those in the stoical publishing ranks are raking in the cash at the expense of hopeful and aspiring writers. They will not even look at a manuscript to determine its merit, unless you are willing to shell out a tidy sum for their pompous chatter. Should not the publishers be seeking-out and courting quality writers VS placing themselves on lofty Captain Dunsel pedestals??? This bloated and currupt system will only cease when writers wise-up and stop feeding a monster that is only self-serving.
As someone who loves storytelling and has a tendency for risk taking, I am wagering my writing endeavor in the hopes of finding a few uncorrupted publishers out there. If only a few writers read of my experiences, and question the monopolistic practices now in use - then my revelation will have been well worth the hazards. In the meantime I am enjoying the rides (and exposure) my vehicles are providing on this site - and I am grateful others are as well.
City: Do You Dare ? CA

Interests and Hobbies: For over half a year I followed the publishing industry's criteria (including prominent agents), with only attempts by them to sell something as a result. They would not read my work without me purging cash, and so, I remain true to the tenet of not paying ransom for success. Some advise to turn the other cheek and pay the exorbitant fees, I say expose a LOWER cheek in their direction and find a more profound way - by living ones' dreams!
Books: Wrapping-up with accomplishments and goals will be my partial victory. The complete novel Seven Skins or a sample chapter is now available, as of 10-17-07, via the progressive online publisher Scribeworx.net. From prospective writers, this company only requires a quality story and self-promotion (no $). Since my Furyous Black Fury of 23 years is in the book, she is a vehicle that propels my aspirations forward. The 4x4 van and Kool bus will motor in the sequel Geologic Genocide. To see two 1966 4dhtp Furys in big screen motion, watch the 1970 French movie Le Cercle Rouge for a hard-boiled cool factor (I recently learned of this black Fury),and Off Limits from 1988 for C- body driving that unleashes full sized classic car potential! Look close in this movie, as two are used, one a disguised 1965. I wonder if they still exist? A prosperous and entertaining writing pursuit can also help fuel my parallel dream of a unique and high-profile vintage machines outlet. Imagine YOUR classic recorded performing exhilarating 180 maneuvers, etc, and/or you locating that particular restorable vehicle from the dry southwest to fulfill your vintage desires. Rescuing long neglected classic steel is another vintage passion that ignites my internal combustion drive. Here is a sample (with videos) of what I discover on my travels - 71 El Dorado conv, 67 Satellite BB 4spd, 57 Bel Air 2drhdtp, 4x4 pickup, 67 Coronet conv, 65 Tempest and 69 Firebird, 62 F85 conv, 72 Ford bus (my favorite), 60 T-Bird, 54 Century 2drhdtp, 71 Mercedes 2drhdtp, 70 Javelin, 61 Caddy bubble top, 64 Ranchero, 51 Studebaker, 65? Avanti boat, 56 Bel Air 2drhdtp, 64 power wagon, 64 T-Bird, 65 Wildcat, 80 Blazer, 68 Nova, East coast projects are - 60 T-Bird, 58 Savoy, 56 savoy, Evinrude snowmobile, 63 Olds 98, 64 Chevy Van. If any of these relics strikes your fancy and you inform me you seriously may want one for yourself, I will give you the contact info of the owner of those for sale... VM

None of my vehicles are for sale, but I will give you the contact info of any I have listed for other owners (route 66 projects). Also let me know what you want and I will let you know if I locate one in my travels... There is a 57 Ply 2drhdtp for sale now somewhere in Canada for $10000 - just Google search and you should find it, also keep searching the entire Craigslist as many pop up there
