  • I'd love to hear the orchestra version too. I was lucky enough to go to a concert of Diane's and she performed this piece and described to the audience before it about how she arranged all of the orchestra parts herself for organ. It was one of the most mind blowing pieces I have ever seen an organist perform.

  • I don't think she is TOO overrated; she blows my mind with her flare and passion in a lot of performances moreso than most organist. I agree with you on this particular piece though. A lot of people criticize her for playing pieces too fast, while I actually think she played this one a little too slow. Just my own personal taste, though. I like it a tad faster.

  • This is proof right here of how scandolous our American political powers really are. His dad (first Pres. Bush) really must have pulled some strings. There is no way the mainstream of America including myself supported this dumbass. Sure we get to vote, but if any American believes our "elections" are strictly fair and democratic then he/she is sadly mistaken. They are rigged right from the start. Most Americans aren't like this. At least I hope not because I'd be surrounded by dumb fucks.

  • The closest trascription that I have seen to the way she performs it is the transcription by Alexandre Guilmant. I found his transcrtiption for free online and it is virtually exactly this, with maybe a note difference here and there in the left hand or pedal. Some have said its the Dupre transcription. It may be, but I have never seen it. If you would like to see the free Guilmant copy online send me a message and I will tell you how to get it from wikipedia. It's very simple.
