I'm not a big fan of Horowitz but I must admit that he simply owns this piece. 0:57 his playing was so subtle, poignant and heart-stirring... No one ever comes close. Horowitz is one of the best Scriabin interpreter ever!

By comparing 0:20 and 3:33 you can see how great a pianist Zimerman is. 0:20 is so subtle, sweet and meticulous... 3:33 transform the same passage into the climax of the piece... truly magnificent, Master Zimerman!

This is the FIRST PC game I ever played... with my first PC in my life... this is so memorable...

@cutieazngal this drama is the very first TVB drama i watched in my life... the blood demon by Ekin is very memorable... :-)

don't get me wrong. i think horowitz is one of the true piano masters ever... but how he played this ballade doesn't really convince me! at some points the base were played too loud and the piece lost the gracefulness that it should have possessed.

you played the arpeggiated chord wrongly. all the notes in the arpeggiated chord should be at the same beat instead of two beats. also you have to take note of the melody in this lovely piece. try to bring out the melody and shade the broken chords in the right hand.
