About A Comparison of China and the West
As an overseas Chinese, I grew up in Australia. During my 20 and a half years in a western country, I have experience the rule of western imperialism and the extreem difficulty of conserve my own culture and pride. I have experience assimilation. I was asked to give up my own culture and was to adopt and accept western imperialism. So was is the meaning western imperialism. It mean to accept western rule, give up ones culture and replace it with western culture, only accept that westerners are right and to only do what the west requests. This is what western imperialism is. As a Chinese who is aware of this, I must do all I can to conserve my Confucianist traditions and stand proud for my nation. Do not let those who are against you to determine you faith. China belongs to all Chinese including the Chinese Ethnic Minorities. Say no Taiwan and Tibetian Separtists and their western imperialist supporters. Let us make a proud, strong and advancely united China.
