Do you question your religious beliefs? If you don't, you should. You will find that most religious claims have no evidence to support them. We have believed in thousands of gods throughout history, not one of them have ever been shown to exist. So why is your god any different?

Most of the videos are an attempt to make people think about what they believe. If you find any of them offensive, then grow a thicker skin. I occasionally "bash" ideas and policies that I find harmful to humanity and I will not apologize for it.

I am an ex-Christian of 25+ years, but have always had problems with Christianity. My first doubts about its validity started at an early age when nuns at my Sunday school told me I shouldn't question them. My questions never stopped and were never answered to my satisfaction. However, being raised and being surrounded by Christians, it was very difficult to break free from the beliefs that got deeply embedded.

I credit George Carlin for opening my mind to start questioning my beliefs internally. By openly mocking my beliefs, he confirmed how stupid some of them were. This ultimately triggered my path to atheism. Seeing him not afraid to say there was no god, showed me it was OK not to believe these ridiculous and flawed concepts and that there were people who were not afraid to say so. It took many years to overcome a constant need to re-label a higher power(the threat of going to hell weighed heavily on my mind) to finally admit there was, most likely, no god.

I credit TAE, especially Matt Dillahunty and Russell Glasser, for helping me get my critical thinking skills back "in line" and for helping me "come out" as an atheist. The first 5 or so episodes I listened to at the time were hosted by Matt and/or Russell. And it was those first episodes that had a profound effect on the way I looked at the world, myself, and religion.

This was years ago and I feel I am forever in debt to all three of the above named people for helping me get my mind back into a rational state. Now that I am free to think, without the shackles of religion holding me down, I feel truly free for the first time since my childhood.
