David Hulme, holds a doctorate in International Relations from the University of Southern California with an emphasis on the Middle East. He has also studied theology, psychology and philosophy. Writings by David Hulme include Apostles: First Followers and Their Faith (Vision Media Publishing, November 2010), as well as Gospels for the 21st Century (Vision Media Publishing 2010), Identity, Ideology and the Future of Jerusalem (Palgrave, 2006) and a chapter in What Makes Us Human? by Charles Pasternak (ed) (Oneworld 2007). Hulme is also president of Vision Media Productions and chairman of Vision Foundation International.

Leading experts on the environment and alternative energy discuss the future of energy production and the impact on the environment at the Oxford Energy Conference in 2007. The Oxford International Biomedical Centre sponsored the two-day seminar titled, Alternative Energy, Health & the Environment. The focus of the seminar features recent findings concerning human induced global warming and the urgent need to reduce carbon emissions.
