Hello and welcome to my channel.
I am a gamer and video game "historian". I maintain the "All Video Game Collection" Website, www.videogameobsession.com
Please check it out.

In the beginning...
My parents bought an Atari PONG system for my brothers in the late 70's. I was probably too young to know how to play, but I was still intrigued by the glowing pixels! :P

In 1977 we received an Atari 2600 and a few years later my parents brought the arcade experience home with the great Colecovision!
About Me:

As most of the USA, we also went through the dark time known as "The great video game crash of '83/'84. With the lack of any decent games for our Colecovision and Atari 2600, which at that time we played through an expansion port, we ended up selling off (selling out?) our Colecovision and all the games in favor of the Commodore Vic-20. It may have been "The Friendly Computer : - ]", but it didn't have many good games and lets face it...being a kid, aged 10, that's all I really cared about!

1985 was a year to remember for video gaming. I remember seeing commercials for a strange looking robot, R.O.B along some quick snippets of arcade ports that looked amazing at the time. Popeye, Donkey Kong, Mario Bros. They blew away the 2600 and Colecovision versions! Needless to say, I had to have one! Come Christmas of 1985 I was lucky enough to have received a NES Deluxe set with Duck Hunt and Gyromite under our Christmas Tree! I was a happy young lad. :)

The years to follow I pretty much have kept up and bought every new console that was released. I even picked up a few old systems that I had missed the first time around.

One of my favorite systems is the Neo-Geo AES system which I heard about in a VG&CE magazine in 1989. I saved up my hard earned money and my very nice parents chipped in the rest which was my big Christmas present of 1990! The funny thing is I don't even care for the fighters on the NG. I really enjoy Baseball Stars Pro, Top Players Golf, Metal Slug, Cyber-Lip, Nam-1975, League Bowling, and a few others.

I also really enjoy the games on the SNES and Genesis. I could go on and on... seriously, I could. :P If you want to know my favorite games for each system just go to my website. I own pretty much all the best games for each system. I know that is my opinion, but if you don't agree with me, then you are wrong. :P

Thanks again for checking out my videos. I hope you enjoyed at least one of them. If that's the case, please subscribe and let me know by leaving a comment. I have to run and polish the wood finish on my Atari 2600 system!
