As a classical guitarist, Victor graduated cum laude from The Royal Conservatory of The Hague in 2004. In the same school, he also studied "Schoolmusic" for one year. Here he was educated to become a Music Teacher in a school. In June 2008 Victor finished his Master Studies at The Tango Department of Codarts in Rotterdam. There, next to the practice and performing of Tango, Victor worked on his Artistic Master Research. In this research he investigated the influence of Gypsy Jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt on Tango guitarist Roberto Grela. His interests are beyond playing the guitar. In the passed 4 years, for example, he practiced overtone singing. Victor worked in a collaboration with overtone singer Mark van Tongeren. One result of this collaboration was a recording for the soundtrack "4 Elements" by Jiska Rickels. Victor started a corporation in live muziek at funerals. www.sound-of-silence.nl Projects: -In his home-studio, Victor is working on his own music. The studio offers him oppertunities to experiment with his own musical ideas. In those ideas all of his influences are fused. They will be translated in a body of its own. They will be translated the way he wants his true music to appear. -Record with solo Classical Guitar music. -Record with 10 of his own songs. Various singing and guitar techniques will be used to illustrate the textual meaning of the words. Victor performs in different Tango ensembles. He also works in a duo setting with singer Hanna Sleumer: Duo Stare Mesto. Their music ranges from Yiddish, Celtic to Fado. Victor is a part time teacher in a Guitar School in The Hague.
