Afraid not; TVNW was created to represent the avenue of blandness ITV journeyed down from the 80s onwards, eventually arriving at the dead end it reached about ten years ago. Cumberland Television is where my regional TV heart resides, alongside ATV, Southern and Westward!

I'm so sorry about part 2. Fucking copyright!?! Previously, it was always safe as long as you muted the soundtrack; now it seems those money-grabbing bastards won't even allow the visuals to be used. Basically, I dubbed something completely new over the 'Don't Stand So Close To Me' video and that seems to be the source of this ludicrous situation. I'll have to go back, re-cut it and then upload it again. If you can bear with me, I'll try and have it sorted by this afternoon.

I really enjoyed the first part of your latest TOTP spoof VL. The shakin stevens part really made me laugh.Then I woke up this morning looking foward to watching part 2 only to find the 2nd part has been DMCA'd. BAH, Bloody you tube.

Glad you liked it, Top of The Babes. My TOTP spoof was one of those occasional 'epics' I produce; the shorts are far easier and don't require much in the way of commitment, but it's a while since I did a long 'un so I reckon it might be a good idea to put another TOTP together, maybe even an early 80s one with Master Bates; plenty of parody options there! If you watch my videos in sequence, you'll probably notice they get better as they go on, but that's just me learning more as I make more, really.

Your Top of the Pops 1972-ish mock was the best TOTP mock I've seen, and a lot better than my efforts. You made a whole edition rather than just a portion. The Gilbert O'Sullivan parody "Why Is My Hair So Big?" and Tony Sunburn voiceover were funny. I hope you'll be making more mock editions of Top of the Pops in future, pop picker! Not 'arf!

Very glad that you are enjoying my 70s and 80s UK postings! It's great to be able to bring back so many memories for everybody. I never saw these shows here in the States when I was a kid; I had to wait until an adult, but I'm very fortunate even to have found them.
