Way too much product placement and too many fast edits - this looks a lot more like a bland and typical commercial than a music video, not exactly something I'd seek out to watch again. Good song, though.
The human eye is reflective. When a person is being photographed, they usually have light focused on them. An unlit person standing in front of them is reflected in their eyes, causing the slit. I see this ALL THE TIME in professional portrait photographs - with the higher resolution of film stil...

This is FAR superior to the US version - way, way better acting, and the dialogue makes sense in British english. Why did MTV decide to make such a sub-par, unrealistic clone, instead of just airing this with bleeps and blurs?
