@LittleKirra That's because AMD chips have always had lower l3 cache, like the new intel beast chip has 15MB of l3 cache which is crazy, the phenom x4's have 6 where the i7's have 8MB.
What I don't understand is how the new i5 with 6MB of l3 cache can perform as good as the 1366 i7's that have 8...

@dento180 Because both CPU's are easily powerful enough where games won't utilize every thread so there won't be any difference, however in the future when it does utilize the CPU your friends i7 will have higher framerate.

@MrBLADESTORM Metro 2033 is by far the #1 game I have played that my system has issues running AA I can run it dx11 with 1080P and Tes but once you enable DOF and AA you need a beast GPU.

@iqtuz No 300$ pc can run metro with 360 frame rate, a 400-500$ system can, im talking about buying all pc components from scratch, psu, case, memory, hard drive, CPU , mobo, gpu, hdd, etc. I have built many budget rigs. I should know.

@cowclot Hyperthreading doesn't really make any difference in games because most games don't use more then just a few threads. You can get so much more out of a cpu with hyperthreading disabled. I do keep it enabled though because I do like the look of my desktop widgets showing 8 threads lol.. P...
