The Good years.

I always had a feeling inside to try and help others but did not know how to. So like every good American I joined the military. I decided to become a firefighter, what better way to help people I thought. I spent four years in the United States Air Force and was Honorably discharged. After being discharged I began to pursue a career in firefighting. It took about six months to get hired after many applications and tests. I was now a career firefighter. I loved it, finally I found my purpose in life. I spent the next eighteen years dedicating myself to saving others. I cannot begin to explain the feeling of satisfaction I felt, the feelings of sorrow you feel, the feelings of loss people felt, and becoming connected with people in way a I never new existed.

The not so good years.

At the age of forty-five I had a massive heart attack which changed my life forever. I had to have emergency open heart surgery that same day. I had gone from jogging to waking in a hospital bed with tubes coming out of every part of me. I had damaged my heart muscle on the left ventricle which left me with only partial heart function.
After several months of rehabilitation, being placed on disability, losing my house, car, and about every single thing I had. But especially my life. I went through a depression like I cannot describe almost and quite often feeling like ending myself. I had to get a grip and soon or this was going to destroy me emotionally and physically for good. The following two years were the hardest years of my life. I now knew first hand the meaning of loss. There were times I did not know what I was going to eat the rest of the month. Disability is no joke my friend. Having to suffer the part that is disabled is only half the battle. It is no fun when you do not know were you are going to live,

The new beginning.

I had to do some serious soul searching. I found that if you do not seek that which is most important in life nothing else will ever really matter. You can have everything you ever wanted, you can have millions of dollars, you can have the Cadillac, the boat, and all the external things in the world. But if you do not seek that which is most important none of those things will really matter. If we do not seek that first we will always want for something else, more money, a bigger house, a newer car. We will never be satisfied if we do not do this and the reason is because we are not happy with ourselves. We need to look inside and find ourselves, become at peace with ourselves. Look really inside and realize wow I really am beautiful. Folks believe me we need to find a true love for ourselves, a true happiness within, a place to be content with ourselves. And if we do not do this, we are always looking for the next big thing. Are minds are always racing, seeking that next moment, seeking that next experience. Always seeking this and seeking that. And when we really seek that one thing which is really most important and let go of those other things. There is a crazy paradox which seem to happen. All the things you wanted, seem to be much easier to get when you actually let go of them and seek yourself first. The money comes easier, meeting wonderful friends, and all the external things begin to come to us much easier.
All these things are not so important to us when we really are seeking that within.

The best years.

I was here looking around youtube one day and found a video about a way to make money from home. I watched it and thought, God knows I could certainly use some extra money.
