VERTICAL RUSH do not adhere to your typical indie-band recipe. Take a good serving of gutsy guitar rock, blend it with intricate song arrangements, a large helping of catchy pop hooks and a pinch of tongue-in-cheek humour. Serve fresh with an intense live performance. Satisfaction guaranteed!

Vertical Rush have come a long way from their inception in 1998. Though they have experienced 10 years of lineup and stylistic changes, Vertical Rush remains true to their core passion: To make music that moves people.

Vertical Rush draw from a deep well of musical influences, ranging from classic to alternative rock, and it shows in their music. In a generation of bland imitators who scratch the surface, Vertical Rush are a much-needed voice of passion and maturity.

Whether they are playing to half a dozen people at an intimate acoustic performance, or to thousands at a rock festival and all points between, Vertical Rush never fails to give their all and deliver the goods where it matters!

Musical trends may come and go, but Vertical Rush have shown beyond the shadow of a doubt that they are here to stay. Few bands can lay claim to having as much staying power and continuous growth as Vertical Rush, and they look forward to many more years of making music that moves people.
