In anything his chest voice seems SLIGHTLY affected ...like the high chest voice part at 1:33- though admittedly that part is just very high and hard either way, haha.

@bzymph Megadeth riffs are very difficult but subgenres like death metal regularly have riffs that are much much harder. That being said, I like Megadeth more than any death metal band (except for Death...which has much easier riffs than Megadeth, actually).

@chri095k Pretty sure that's a fretless guitar. Sliding with the fretless is a common technique. Vai, of course, totally owns it and uses it in only the most tasteful musical context.
