Charles Harper Webb's two most recent collections, "What Things Are Made Of" (2013) and "Shadow Ball" (2009) were published by the Pitt Poetry Series. His numerous books of poetry include "Reading the Water" (Northeastern, 1997), "Tulip Farms & Leper Colonies" (BOA Editions, 2001), and "Stand Up Poetry: An Expanded Anthology" (Univ. of Iowa Press, 2001) which he edited. His awards include the Morse Poetry Prize, the Kate Tufts Discovery Award, the Felix Pollock Prize, the Benjamin Saltman Prize, a Whiting Writer's Award, and a Guggenheim fellowship. His poems have appeared in American Poetry Review, Paris Review, Iowa Review, Ploughshares, Michigan Quarterly Review, Poets of the New Century, Best American Poetry, and The Pushcart Prize.
