If he actually got "voted off" then you might have an argument, but that's not what happened. He scored the lowest on the quiz. That's perfectly fair.

I feel so sorry for the stamp dealer. The entire concept behind this challenge is rather stomach-turning, honestly, but the wolfing down of expensive food and wine doesn't bother me nearly as much as the deliberate devaluing of the antique stamps.

Marc is so freaking adorable in the opening credits. He reminds me of John Cusack, back in his 80s teen movie days.

Hearing adult women referred to as "girls" never fails to irritate me, especially when the men aren't being called "boys." I mean, WTF? How is someone like Anne-Marie a "girl?" Is this common in Australia?

I also agree. The contestants never win this one. I think the producers like including this challenge anyway because it looks cool on TV, and because it serves to dishearten and exhaust the contestants.

Hah! Do you really imagine that either Paul or Chris would have heard of Robert Hanssen? He didn't play sport, after all, so why would they know about him? Seriously, I think those two have got to be the dimmest bulbs ever to play this game.

I know this is an ancient comment, but just for the record, that was the approximate exchange rate in 2000 as well, although it dipped all the way down to 1 GBP to 1.8 USD a couple of times. I was living in the UK that year, and I remember those dips all too well!

Agreed. I thought the editing was rather unfair, really. They pulled the same trick about three times over the course of the season. I didn't like that. It just seemed gratuitously misleading to me.

It's truly bizarre, isn't it? She comes across as mentally deficient in this challenge. It would be one thing if I thought she were deliberately trying to sabotage the game, but I'm almost certain she was doing nothing of the kind.

I found this season's Mole really obvious as well. I think it's just always much easier for us as viewers than it is for the actual players. The edit probably helps make it clear to us, while the players don't have that advantage.

These episodes were never released on DVD and they aired back in the days of VCR, so one can't really expect great video quality. It looks as if these videos come from someone's home VCR recording of the show. That's hardly the season's fault. It's a great season, if you can just overlook the poo...

CBS, why do you no longer release the full voting statement videos? Those were really interesting and valuable. This is just the last 30 seconds of the show again. Not worth my time.
