I tried the same thing, mate. But it didn't work.. The only thing that fixed it was cleaning the lense with really high percent rubbing alcohol. I wouldn't use anything below 90% to assure you will have no water spots after cleaning.

  @Dogmal17 is right, sometimes i was able to get it to work if I tilted it on its side/upside down. But always took me about 20 minutes to get a game to show up.

  After cleaning the lens they show up as fast as they did when i bought the thing.

  Try putting it upside down @witten20, if it works ...
