THE THRILL OF RIDIN'
We're all interested in motorcycles for different reasons that disparity is one of the things that makes the pursuit so very interesting. The ever changing scenery, the exploration of the unknown, the freedom we feel and the visceral emotions keep us riding. The technical complication and purist beauty of two-wheelers are also a part of the myriad of motivations that drives our passion. But for many of us, one aspect of why we ride is the intoxicating excitement we derive from exploiting the incredible power-to-weight ratio of motorcycles. When you take a machine weighing around 400 pounds and imbue it with a three-digit horsepower figure and the best chassis technology available, it produces a rate of acceleration, deceleration, and agility that has to be felt to be believed. It is adrenaline inducing, somewhat dangerous, and extremely challenging. Dealing successfully with those feelings is both thrilling and empowering; and, ultimately, it makes us feel truly alive.
