I always think the relationship between dogs and horses is interesting. One of my dogs is a Cane Corso and he hates dogs outside his family, yet loves horses. It's really strange.

Why do people only give pit owners sh*t on having their dogs ears cropped? Do any of you realize that people crop either the ears or tails of Min Pins, Yorkies, Schnauzers, Boxers, Great Danes, Spaniels, Pointers and Dobies among a hundred other breeds? Cropping/Docking is not cruel if it's done...

The thing that sucks about this is that I read in an article the guy who bought Big Splash has other Tibetan Mastiffs and he's so afraid of them they live in kennels 24/7. So this poor dog is owned by a millionaire but doesn't have a good quality of life. It's very sad.

People who work at shelters do the absolute best they can with what they have. There are simply too many animals, not enough homes, and not enough resources to house them indefinitely. Someone has to do the dirty work. IMO euthanasia is a more humane option than keeping a dog in a kennel for year...
