I saw this last night during the game. I came to youtube to vote for it and it's not even an option. Damn. And I actually thought it was the funniest commercial.

You're there to serve the writer and director, which in this case are both Malick. He's unconventional. Deal with it. Christian Bale doesn't seem to have a problem working with Malick again, probably because he respects Malick's philosophy and the story he wants to tell. Good for him.

Hey thanks, Father Barron. I'm not a serious practicing Christian, but you always come through with a throught provoking explanation and I appreciate that. I tend to agree with you and it's good to know that someone like you is out there to actually watch motion pictures of all kinds.

I'm guilty. I watched "Drive" too.

Um, he never joined the Civil Rights movement, or held any true political beliefs. He was at the March on Washington and that's about it. They just liked to use his name more than anything.

"The Sixth Sense" is a fine piece of writing and filmmaking. Everyone who speaks badly about him, like that idiot, kfki , has no appreciation for good story. And "The Sixth Sense" is a good story told very well. "Signs" and "Unbreakable" weren't bad either.

But of course he has lost a few steps...

damn bloated arthouse films. There are more attractive and appealing ways to reveal of the origins of the world and its rebirth etc. "The Tree of Life" for one. After watching this and other arthouse flicks, I find it hard that mainstream audiences can't grasp Malick's movie.

wow, the cinematography, yeah. That part when he's walking over the pews in the church? Great visuals. This is one of those movies that, by the trailer, look to change people. And 99.9% of movies can't do that on a grand scale

pretty sure he worked as an upholster at a furniture shop in Michigan, and all those years since he was a young boy he played instruments in small-cramped room, which also took hard work for him to play the way he does.

really?? I just drove through Lincoln a couple days ago. Tell him he's hilarious and should get a good agent to do a sitcom. These commercials are great.

I love this final scene. I just watched this movie for the first time 15 minutes ago and I had to search for the ending on youtube quick to watch it again. Great, great scene.
