About this user

A naturalized immigrant from the Dominican Republic, Edward Corcino is a product of the New York City public school system, Magna Cum Laude graduate from the City College of New York with an Master of Science in Entertainment Business from Full Sail University. A performer at heart, Edward interests lies more in the technical and business end of the entertainment and art industry. Graduated as a theater major, with numerous staged college productions and some off Broadway credits, he has spent countless hours working behind the scenes in every different level of theatrical design (lights, stage and costume design), business operations, casting and marketing for college, off Broadway and off-off Broadway theater productions. He has most recently been engaged in digital videography, graphics animation and editing while taking courses at the Fashion Institute of Technology in interactive media production and animation.

Self taught in editing programs ranging from Adobe Premier to Final Cut, Edward has been concentrating more on doing independent film work.

As a reserve in the United States Coast Guard, while working full time at the Fashion Institute of Technology, Edward serves as an active member of the Association of Navel Services Officers, which fosters the recognition and advancement of Hispanic officers in the uniformed navel services. He also continues to contribute back to his Alma Mater as President of the City College Latino Alumni group and VP of his fraternity's local alumni association.
