Hi Guys,

My name is Giel, and I am 18 years old. I am born in Belgium and I live there, but I can speak five languages. Dutch, English, French and some German and Spanish. I have some Spanish (Valencian) roots, so I'm also a huge fan of VALENCIA CF! I have been a fan of them all my life, and I will be for the rest of my life! AMUNT!

I like to play soccer with my friends, to watch a movie, listen to music, to read a book about history. But I mostly like to play videogames. I play them since I was 6 years old, so I'm also pretty experienced in playing them.

Like I said earlier, I'm really into gaming. You can call me a hardcore gamer because it's the hobby where I spent most of my time on, and which I enjoy it most. I'm kinda a Sony fanboy, that's why I own the PS1, PS2 and PS3, and of course the amazing PSP. When I play, I mostly play on the PS3, PC and the PSP. I also like retro games, but I don't really collect them because I don't have enough money to combine retro gaming/current gaming.

One of my hobbies is reading about history, and watching documentaries about this subject. I'm mostly into the Ancient Roman and Greek times, the Renaissance and the 20th century with the two World Wars. That is why I love to play historical strategy games on the PC, especially the Total War-series with Rome: Total War, Medieval 2: Total War etc. I strongly suggest watching videos from PrinceofMacedon if you're into these kind of games or into history. He's not only an awesome guy, he also knows a lot of World History, especially the ancient times.

I'm also really into travelling, especially backpacking trough Europe and other Continents. This is where my flair for languages comes in handy. :-) I'm also really into cultural travelling, so if you have any questions or need advice, just PM me. ;-) This is why I'm going to study tourism in a couple of months.

I'm also into movies, but who is not into movies? :-) I also like playing sports, especially soccer and volleyball, but I also like basketball to be honest :-) In the summer, I play a lot of sports, because the weather allows it.
