@LadyEntomologist Yes, all the swelling and discoloration was due to MRSA, not the venom. However, I did go to the hospital shortly after the bite and received treatment.
I shot this video 2 days after going to the ER. It took several days for the antibiotics to knock out the infection.

@Lisantx Thanks for your input/advice Dr. As you correctly pointed out, the redness and swelling was due to a staph infection. MRSA to be exact. And I had it treated with a big, painful shot in the hip, with antibiotics, as well as a course of oral antibiotics.
