What do thes enviromental people want? You could cover all the desert in the west and it would not make enough power and would cause more damage to the enviroment that what we have been using for the last 100 years. Ever time i see a global warming commercal i laugh at it becuse the steam coming out of a exhaust stack they call it co2.

Try drinking a glass of water with a "TRACE" of crude oil in it! I KNOW diesel fuel does not occur naturally in the ground. It is sometimes added to the fracing fluid to act as a lubricant for the fluid going down the hole. Many other substances have also been used for lubricants that you would NOT want in your drinking water. Detergent, glycerine, used motor oil, etc, etc. etc.
I have spent many years on frac sites and seen the glop that they pump down those holes!!

Every lawmaker should be forced to dring a glass of water with "Just a trace" of fracking fluid in it!!!

Vampiregirl69101 I have personally driven the trucks that haul the various chemicals to the frac sites. I know for a fact that diesel fuel has been used in the fracking solution because I have personally unloaded it into the mixer. I know that it is not used extensively...mostly because of it's high cost. However many of the other chemicals that I have personally hauled and seen inserted into the mixer are FAR more toxic than diesel fuel. HYDRAULIC FRACING IS NOT SAFE FOR DRINKING WATER!!! It can also force the oil and gas up into the water table. The casing can also rupture or crack where it passes through the water table.
