This cartoon, along with the surprise ending of Rabbit Rampage, is only cartoon in which Elmer Fudd gets the upper hand. Yes, a real slick way to avoid paying back taxes, until Elmer comes out of hiding.

amazing that WB used the actor who was Goofy in this one along with Mel Blanc.

Some of the vocal effects used in this game are from FIRST BLOOD and RAMBO III, but not all.

Weirdest thing this was directed by Bob Clampett, who later made the Controversial Coal Black and De Sebben dwarfs.

I always loved that part where Daffy flips out after being caught by porky and that fish trick. consequently, did you know that same vocal effects were used used in DAFFY DUCK'S QUACKBUSTERS?

Even tho there IS the one scene in this that depicts the racial view prevalent in Civil War times, it is only ONE. And does not encompass the whole cartoon. Besides, if you look@ some of the other cartoons on the air, in particularly BOONDOCKS, you'd see somewhat more extreme attitudes.

This whole artoon is a sheer work of GENIUS on the part of FF and Mel Blanc. I still get a tickle in my funny bone when I see/hear Sam falling down the stairs in his armor, yelling every minced cuss word every 2nd or 3rd step and all the time, bugs is slowly deducting every bit.

Odd how even in cartoon form, Steve Buscemi and Peter Lorre look alike.

The scene with the St Bernard is also used in another cartoon, but Sam isn't holding his gun when he's pulled out in that one.

This is one of the few cartoons That Mel Blanc wan't the only voice for the characters- Actor Daws Butler also lent his voice.
