Believe it or not yes it is. That is why there is Fred Flintstone looks more alive than all the other characters. The voice of Barney Rubble (MEL BLANC) is not the actual voice. It's just one of his 1000 voices that he made up. So when you hear Fred talks, You hear the actual voice of Alan Reed....
